Yup, you got it, this is where I'm gonna be listing all the hottest live beach webcams that I can find online. Hell I love the beach so much I might make a full on site for just this topic. I guess it's because I was basically born and raised on the beach. My father surfed competition for Hobie back in the 60s when I was a baby. As a matter of fact I was actually born one early morning that my parents had planned on going to the beach to catch some early waves. Ahh, the 60s and California, what an interesting time and place.

South Beach, Miami Florida - Surfline Webcam ( 9 Jul 05 ) - This I believe is showing some of the effects of Hurricane Dennis making for a less than pleasant beach day.

image and representation of how some of the beaches along the coast in Cali
get during the summer... Foggy & overcast, otherwise known as "June Gloom."
What happens is that marine layer comes in a bit over the land as the high
pressure/heat builds up inland...A

Venice Beach, California Livecam ( 29 Jun 05 ) - I took this screen cap purposely at night, as having lived in Santa Monica (neighboring city) I had the pleasure of enjoying Venice Beach at night back in the 70s before it became gang ridden as it is today. It's still a great place to go in the daytime, but clearly needs to be cleaned up at night.
Playa Esterillos, Costa Rica SurfCam ( 28 Jun 05 ) - Another cool surfcam from surfline.com. Costa Rica is home to many popular surf camps & resorts. Although it's the rainy season down there now, as you can tell from the screen cap below, I've heard it's an awesome country to visit and live in.
South Padre Island Live Webcam (Texas) ( 24 Jun 05 ) - This is home of some raging spring break action from what I've heard. This webcam is hosted by earthcam.com & is a nice shot from what looks to be a restaurant.
Live Streaming Webcam from Waikiki Beach, Honolulu Hawaii ( 23 Jun 05 ) - This isn't the best view of the beach, but it sure seems to be at a fairly active tourist spot on Hawaii. You'll see a lot of people walking around pretty often.
San Diego Live Streaming Webcam - (22 Jun 05 ): I love this one, finally a good free STREAMING webcam! :) Also I'm a big fan of San Diego, love that city. Enjoy the link/webcam.
Surfline's Pismo Beach (Pier) Webcam: I love this one as it's my local beach. I used to live 2 minutes up the street from here in Shell Beach. Pismo is a great sand-break beach for learning to surf at. The pier is your typical California beach pier...awesome! :)
SurfLine: This site has about a few dozen different popular surfcams. Is a great site to checkout for beach lovers and surfing fans.
Australian Beach Webcams - The one captured here is specifically from the "surfers paradise" webcam listed on a great page I found that features quite a few different webcams from autralia's hottest beachs.
Santa Monica Pier Webcam - This website has a few local webcams from Santa Monica and Venice. They are actually some of my favorites as I lived in Santa Monica for a while and am very familiar with the area. It brings back memories of being a kid there in the late 70s...
Panama Beach Webcam - This page is hosted by some hotel of course, but is really a nice webcam. It cuts you off after a few minutes of viewing but provides some very nice angles. Definitely worth checking out.
