Funny Webcam Video Girl on Youtube

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Ok I know I know, it’s been forever since I’ve posted. I’m not going to promise I’ll keep posting as honestly I’m not sure if I have time to keep this thing running. I’m actually considering selling this domain as I’m just too busy with other projects.

That being said, I found something funny to share while surfing Youtube for anything webcam and interesting. Here is some girl messing with a that has some effects that you might also find amusing. Here’s a pic of the cam:
logitech webcam
And here’s the video off of Youtube where she shows some of the effects possible by this piece of hardware.

I’ve also installed this plugin that makes it easy for lazy bloggers to post/embed videos from Youtube and other video portals easily. I figure if I “DO” decide to keep this site I ought to make it easy to post some interesting stuff from time to time.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the vid.

PS: If you are interested in buying this domain (I also have webcamsforum.com available as a package) contact me by posting a comment on this thread with your contact info.

Webcams Keeping Military Families Connected

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007

Another article I found today about the military using webcams, email and technology in general to keep families in touch while they are deployed across the world.

I know I’ve blogged on this before, but thought it nice that it’s still being done and growing in popularity & availability.

My hat is off to all of those in service, which is especially hard during the holidays.

ciao for now

Wecams on the Border and Stopping Crime

Wednesday, December 27th, 2006

So it’s been forever since I’ve posted on this Webcams Blog. Resolution for 2007 is to ramp this back up with some quality posts and content.

Anyways, was browsing some webcams news and came across two somewhat related and interesting news stories on webcams.

The first one is about how Texas is spending some money setting up , and although it’s only generated a handful of arrests they’re looking at expanding the effort. This will be an interesting issue to watch.

The other story I ran across that I thought was blog-worthy is one about a Brazilian man traveling in Germany that via his (security) system averted his home from being burglarized.

I have mixed feelings about the use of webcams becoming more and more predominant. Although it’s nice to see them assisting in catching criminals, it’s very invasive in the way of presupposing crime is going to happen anywhere. I just never expected big brother or someone else to be watching our every move. It seems so spooky and very 1984′ish.

Well that’s all for now, take care and have a very Happy New Year! …and stay tuned we’ll keep this place updated a bit more often…

Web Cams Bring Soldiers Together With Kin

Sunday, December 18th, 2005

Found another great news article on web cams bringing people together. Our military does so much for us, it’s nice to know that technology is helping maintain their morale during the holiday season. My hat is off to all the men and women in the armed services during this time of the year, as I personally know what it’s like. I spent 12 years on active duty in the US Air Force, and many holiday seasons spent abroad. Communication with family makes all the diference in the world this time of the year.

Anyways, here’s the link to the article:

Live Webcams Help Families Strengthen Bonds Over Distance

Thursday, December 8th, 2005

This is a great article I found on Japanese families that live abroad in keeping their family ties close with the use of .

THE FAMILY–Seeking stronger bonds / Kin use IT to overcome distance

The following is the last of the final six installments of the yearlong “Family” series focusing on the impact of rapidly growing internationalization on contemporary families.

As mixed-nationality marriages increase and Japanese families increasingly find themselves living abroad, many are turning to the Internet and other forms of electronic communication to keep in touch with family members living in other countries.

Shunichi Futagami, a 60-year-old executive in Matsuyama, looks forward to talking to his grandson, who lives in Michigan, via his computer’s webcam every weekend.

“Good morning, Hiro-chan,” he greeted the 1-year-old Hiroki on the Internet at 10 p.m. on a Sunday, which was 8 a.m. in the U.S. state. Hiroki smiled at his grandfather as his father, Takahiro, and mother, Mikako, appeared behind him.

The Futagamis began this weekend ritual after Takahiro was transferred to his company’s subsidiary in the United States. Futagami’s wife and daughters join him when he talks with Takahiro on the Net.

“I think my family’s ties have become stronger than when we all lived in the same country,” Futagami said.

Kayoko Roppongi’s six family members live in four countries.

Military Using Webcams & IM to Keep in “Touch”

Tuesday, October 25th, 2005

Here’s another interesting article on how military couples are using webcams and IM to keep themselves ‘connected’ in that special way while deployed. Checkout the blog entry and link to another related story on this topic:

Chinese Censor Naughty Live Webcam Chat

Monday, September 19th, 2005

I know, you guys are probably wondering why it took me so long to discuss adult live webcams. Well first off I didn’t want to make this just another lame discussion of who’s hot (tee hee, I’m just a sexy girl, etc bla bla bla) and who’s not type of thing. I think we’ve all seen enough of those webcam sites already. Sure, I’m a fan too, and online interativity and naughty fun just are a perfect match. However, I wanted this blog to be something different on webcams, kind of a directory, review, etc and to include really what’s fascinating about the Internet…it’s interactivity!

I guess if I get enough requests I’ll do some more personal webcam site reviews and some reviews on the larger adult webcam portals to sniff out the crappy ones and point you guys (and gals) in the right direction of where to go to “get your fun on.” :)

Anyways, I found an article on wired.com that was talking about how the Chinese government is trying to censor adult webcam chat from their citizens. The article also went on to discuss what a HORRIBLE situation there is over there in regards to the inequity of men to women! It’s really quite sad and online sexual experiences on webcams and in chat are really a needed outlet for sooooooooooo many men that have no chance in hell of hooking up with a real woman there as there are Far too many men in that country. In general webcam chat (of the adult nature) is also a great way to cut down on transmission of STDs. Cybersex really is safe sex in a way.

Something that saddened me while reading the article, is how much our country is becoming like China. Not in regards to the population disparity, we have plenty of women to go around thank G-d! But, when you consider the last year or so of the Bush administration gearing up to try and shut down the adult activities and freedoms online it really makes you think a bit. I don’t think anyone would argue that the Web needed some cleaning up, but the manner in which this administration wants to attack the online adult industry is very much overkill imo.

I and others I know have come to believe that our country has been taken over by theocrats, much like those we are supposedly fighting against in the middle east (or is that we are installing?). Sure we’re not quite as openly barbaric as they are, although if you’ve ever heard the stories of beatings, and the common place of gang rape and disease transmission, sexual slavery in the US prison systems you might think again.

Ok, I’ll stop ranting now… It just makes me sick at what hypocrits we’ve become in this country. Oh, and don’t say we don’t kill civilians like they do, check the #s on how many Iraqi non-combatant civilians we killed recently and compare that to the 9/11 death toll. We CLEARLY have doubled/tripled their kill rate. I guess we don’t believe in eye for an eye, but more like eye for a head, torso and limb. :(

Ok, here’s the article I was supposed to be talking about before I got off on my rant. LOL

Enjoy this article on live webcam chat and censorship in the country of China:

China Mulls ‘Gang of 15 Million’
wired.com - Sep. 16, 2005

“Our sex-tech columnist wonders if the Great Firewall of China can withstand the onslaught of all those lonely young men now that they’ve discovered webcam chat.” Commentary by Regina Lynn.
